ABOUT THE AUTHOR

J.H. Ahlin’s is a person with many talents and interests. His life story is like a colorful quilt, stitched together with tales of bravery, kindness, and a love for learning. J.H. Ahlin’s adventures have taken him to different places and across many years, always driven by a strong desire to know more and to share stories.

He graduated from Tulane University with a degree in English Literature, where his journey as a writer began. Inspired by famous authors like David McCullough, he set out on a path full of history and a curiosity about people’s lives.

But J.H. Ahlin’s story isn’t just about books and classrooms. After finishing school at Temple University’s Dentistry, he served his country as a Navy dentist, spending time in Vietnam and later during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. These experiences stayed with him, shaping his later work as an author.

Moving between the worlds of teaching and dentistry, J.H. Ahlin has always aimed for excellence. He shared his knowledge as a respected teacher at Tufts and Harvard University’s Schools of Dental Medicine, influencing many future dentists.

However, it’s his writing that truly sets him apart. With numerous research papers, textbooks, and novels to his name, J.H. Ahlin’s words hold a special power. From the intense stories of “Overrun, The Battle for Firebase 14” to the emotional tales of “Traitors in the Gestapo” and its sequel, his books speak volumes about human strength in tough times.
